Alison Sweeney, who plays Sammy on Days of Our Lives, has been tapped to be the new host of NBC's reality show The Biggest Loser. I've seen Alison on a bunch of talk shows and she's so personable and great, I'm super excited. Alison will start as host this coming spring when the show starts filming it's fourth season. Caroline Rhea who had been the host since the beginning of the show has left "to pursue other projects," which is industry speak for "sorry, Caroline, but NBC is just not that into you."
