Lea Michele, Katy Perry & Others Who Dominated Social Media This Year

What were you liking, tweeting, tagging and sharing the most this year?

As 2013 comes to a close, it's important to reflect on the last year and consider how we learned and grew, how we changed the world for the better and, most importantly, what we retweeted the most.

Jokes aside, 2013 was another huge year for social media platforms. Snapchat exploded, Twitter went public, Facebook ... well, they tried to make FB hashtags a thing, but sort of #Failed.

The platforms underwent massive changes, but what about the posts? Here's a look back at the biggest, most shared pieces of content from 2013.

Will Smith hanging out with Bieber. It's jiggy, it's fresh, it's ... you know cool or whatever. The point is it got about 1.5 million likes this year, so perhaps it needs no explanation.
