It's easy to make warm, gooey, restaurant-style nachos in just a few minutes in the microwave. Adding extra toppings such as black beans makes nachos not only more nutritious, but also more satiating. Kids will fill up quicker and eat less if the chips are topped with a healthy protein such as black beans.

| 2 cups tortilla chips | 2 tablespoons salsa | |
| 1/2 cup canned black beans | 1 tablespoon sour cream | |
| 1/4 cup grated cheddar |
Spread the chips on a microwavable plate or shallow dish.
Spoon the beans over the top and sprinkle with the cheese.
Microwave on high for 1 1/2 to 2 minutes, until the cheese melts and the beans are heated through. (Don't overheat or the chips will start to get tough.)
Spoon on the salsa and top with a dollop of sour cream.
