Blake Lively might have been keeping her marriage to Ryan Reynolds top secret in the weeks leading up to their hush-hush wedding ceremony, but she's not been hiding the fact that she wants to have a family.
In an interview with Allure conducted before Lively tied the knot with her Green Lantern costar, the 25-year-old admitted that she's dying to have children.
"I've always wanted a big family. Oh, I'd love 30 [children] if I could," she says.
That's a different approach than Reynolds, 35, took in his first marriage to Scarlett Johansson. That couple was looking to adopt, but it seems like Lively wanted to experience motherhood from the beginning.
Even though she hadn't announced that she and Reynolds were engaged, Lively was still bubbling with happiness at the time of this interview.
"Right now, I'm so peaceful," she says. "I've never been happier in my life. It's the choice that you have to wake up every day and say, 'There's no reason today can't be the best day of my life.' "
The Gossip Girl star also opened up about her own body insecurities, saying, "I obviously have plenty of imperfections on my body, but I'd rather have a little bit of cellulite and go do a food trip and try every ice cream place in the South." Sing it, sister.
Lively and Reynolds married Sunday in Charleston, S.C. The historic estate they used was, appropriately, a setting used in one of the most romantic movies ever made: The Notebook.
