Blast from the Past: '80s Soap Stars

I was obsessed with soap operas as a kid. General Hospital was my show, but I watched a few others and read every soap opera magazine from cover to cover. Jack Wagner was my favorite soap star. He played Frisco and was half of the "supercouple" Frisco and Felicia. (See, I really was obsessed.) Funny enough, the first job I landed out of college was at Soap Opera Digest. I got to watch soaps all day, interview the soap hunks and basically live out my childhood dreams. Eventually I even got to interview Jack when he returned to daytime and joined the cast of Bold and Beautiful. He must have had my name written down on a pad of paper or something because throughout our phone interview he kept saying my name over and over. Well, Suzy... Of course I got butterflies every time he said it. He had gotten old, wrinkly and was sorta cheesy, but it was still so neat. Rick Springfield, who was on GH in the 80s is returning to the show tomorrow for a limited run. You must remember him -- or at least remember his music. I wish that I had Jessie's girl. So we dug up a bunch of photos of our favorite '80s soap stars -- like Demi Moore, John Stamos, Bo Brady (Peter Reckell) and, of course, Jack Wagner. The photos are pretty damn funny, so take a look. And so that I don't sound like a total loser with my soap obsession, share your soap opera stories below. Practically everyone I know has watched a show at one point in their lives -- even you guys!
