Blueberries

What they've got: Vitamin C, fiber, antioxidants
Why they're super: Blueberries are packed with potent antioxidants such as anthocyanins, which give blueberries their bold color, and ellagic acid, which appears to help the body fight carcinogens and interfere with the reproduction of cancer cells. Blueberries may help lower the risk of breast, bladder, esophagus, skin and lung cancers.
Other super berries: Strawberries, blackberries, raspberries
Tip: Save money by choosing frozen or canned blueberries, but avoid varieties that are packed in sugar.
