Very soon there will be even more to love about iVillage message boards. We are excited to announce on September 12, 2007 we will discontinue our premium message board subscription plans and the features packaged as "Express Yourself" will be offered free of charge to new and existing members. This means that features such as sig lines, message formatting, advanced search and multi message view will be available to all members without a subscription. We look forward to giving all members the opportunity to enhance their message board experience with more options and personalization. To celebrate, we're declaring September "Show Off Your Signature" month, complete with a community challenge where everyone has a chance to show off their "signature" creations. Not sure how to create a signature? We'll also point you in the right direction with tips and resources to give each message you post that personal touch.
Existing subscribers to the premium service will receive a pro-rata refund for their unused subscription portion, and refunds will be handled through Customer Support. Subscribers won't need to contact us for their refunds -- they will be processed automatically within 2-3 weeks of this change.

What do I need to do to activate my features?
Nothing! All members will see the same features when they log in to the messge boards with their iVillage member name. To adjust your preferences or deactivate features you're not interested in, just visit your Board Settings
I'm currently a subscriber, how do I get my refund?
Current subscribers will receive a pro-rated refund for the unused portion of their subscription term. These refunds will be processed automatically in our system within 2-3 weeks of this change.
How will my refund be sent to me?
If you are due a pro-rated refund, this refund will be applied automatically to the credit card account that you used to subscribe. If your billing information is not accurate, we will not be able to process your refund. To update your billing information, visit the Member Profile page and click on "Manage your purchases and billing information" in the box titled Premium Products.
Will I still be able to purchase an ad-free service?
No, the Express Yourself Plus package will be discontinued.
I'm a Mac/Firefox user, can I still use these features?
Yes, the features are accessible to all users, but in some instances there may be differences in how these features work on your system. WYSIWYG essage formatting is only available to Mac/Firefox/Mozilla users in HTML mode at this time. Some of our features (such as spell check or attachments) work within a pop-up window, so you'll need to be sure to allow those windows to open to use those features.
How do I add a signature to my messages?
You can add a text or graphic based signature to your messages through your Board Settings. Visit our step by step tutorial to learn how to do this and for more resources on creating images and adding style to your messages every time you post.
