After eight-plus seasons of flirtatious bickering on Bones (Mondays, 8 p.m. ET on Fox), Special Agent Booth (David Boreanaz) and Dr. Brennan (Emily Deschanel) are finally getting married! (To reminisce about their relationship over the years, watch the Top 10 Bones and Booth moments.)
Liz and Chris, 30 Rock
Liz (Tina Fey) has mixed feelings about bending to societal pressure and getting married in a white dress. In the end, she figures out a way that even she can be a princess in a white dress -- without losing her smart, offbeat self in the process. Congratulations, Princess Leia! We wish you a long and happy marriage!
Leslie and Ben, Parks and Recreation
Just as Leslie (Amy Poehler) and Ben (Adam Scott) are about to exchange vows in a spur-of-the-moment wedding ceremony, Leslie's nemesis, Jeremy Jamm (Jon Glaser), throws a stink bomb. "Where did you even get a stink bomb?" asks an incredulous Leslie. On Amazon, of course! Ultimately, Ron Swanson (Nick Offerman) punches out Jeremy. "Yay! Best wedding ever!" cries April (Aubrey Plaza). We can't help but agree.
The Red Wedding, Game of Thrones
Lord Walder Frey (David Bradley) walks his daughter Roslin (Alexandra Dowling) down the aisle to marry Edmure Tully (Tobias Menzies). Throwing a lavish ceremony and reception, he gives the impression that he's forgiven Robb Stark (Richard Madden) for breaking his vow to marry Roslin himself. Ah, but no. (WARNING! Spoilers ahead.) "My queen is married," said Frey. "And I owe my new king a wedding gift." He then uses the occasion to ambush Robb, turning the wedding red with Stark blood. The traitor kills Robb, his wife Talisa (Oona Chaplin), his mother Catelyn (Michelle Fairley), and the majority of the Stark men.
Cece and Shivrang's Wedding, New Girl
Cece (Hannah Simone) and Shivrang (Satya Bhabha) didn't really want to marry each other, and they admit it when they both arrive at the altar. Then Shivrang takes things one step further, turning to the wedding guests and admitting his love for… a woman played by Taylor Swift?! Pop culture fans would no doubt get the joke: Swift had just been in the news when she and then-boyfriend Conor Kennedy allegedly crashed the wedding of one of his family members. (They say they were invited.)
Jules and Grayson, Cougar Town
Because the Hawaiian town where they were vacationing didn't allow beach weddings, Jules (Courteney Cox), Grayson (Josh Hopkins) and their friends had to gather as if they were only there to sunbathe. In the span of five minutes, they all jumped up and quickly rushed through the vows. The wedding played out as they strolled along the beach, away from ensuing policemen. Ah, so romantic!
