A HollywoodLife.com insider says that Brangelina are still very much together, and even coordinating their Oscar night ensembles!
HollywoodLife.com can confirm that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are still very much a couple despite recent reports suggesting otherwise.
“Angelina and Brad are still very much together,” a source close to the pouty-lipped actress tells us. “They’re even in the process of planning out their Oscar outfits. Brad wanted to make sure he didn’t clash with Angelina, who’s putting some serious thought into her choices. They are still a couple.”
Planning ahead for March 7-- that’s Oscar-night -- doesn’t suggest a split to us! Our confirm follows hot on the heels of a report on People.com, who are reporting that “everything is fine” in their relationship.
We’re glad to hear it -- especially given the shocking News of the World report that rocked our world Jan. 24 claiming the unmarried couple was getting a ‘divorce.’ Details of the alleged split were as follows:
• Brad & Angelina have seen divorce lawyers and have signed a $400 million split deal
• The legal papers were signed this month and detail how the pair would split up assets.
• The agreement gives the couple joint custody of the children, but all six will live full-time with Angelina. Brangelina began prepping the split in early December and worked with a top LA divorce team.
• The deal was supposedly signed by both in January: “The paperwork is already organized for a break up — and for it to be as unmessy for them as possible. It is clear it’s a case of when they break up rather than if,” says a News of the World source.
Although no official rep for either Brad, 46 or Angelina, 34, has outright denied the claims, other outlets are reporting the two are finito. The New York Post quotes sources claiming that “it’s definitely over.” Ian Halperin, author of "Brangelina: The Untold Story" of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, says that Angelina has driven Brad “practically up a tree” with her wild mood swings.
It doesn’t help their case any that the parents of six were notably absent from both the SAG Awards and the Golden Globes, where Brad’s film Inglourious Basterds was nominated for several awards. The fact that they weren’t both at the Haiti telethon Jan. 22 was also a shocker given that the two are friends with rapper Wyclef Jean.
Can’t someone give these two a break?
