When Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie get away for the holidays, they really get away! For Christmas, the couple whisked their six children and assorted family members off to a luxury resort in the Caribbean, located on the private island Parrot Cay.
According to Page Six, the Jolie-Pitts are borrowing Donna Karan's home while the designer is away. Located right on the beach (obviously), the house has an infinity pool, a collection of African and Asian art, a dining pavilion imported from Bali and an open-air screening room for watching movies.
"[Brad and Angelina] have been loving the island because it is so secluded," says a source on the island. "Angelina’s taken the kids to Karan’s yoga spa. They’ve been running around the island with no care in the world, and relaxing.”
Even though the island, located in Turks and Caicos, is isolated, the Jolie-Pitts are far from alone. There are reportedly 22 people in their vacation group, including Brad's parents, brother and sister and their respective families. It's also rumored that up to a dozen of their "guests" are nannies.
"A woman said she’d heard from a local that [Pitt and Jolie] were in town with two nannies per child," blogged a magazine editor who was vacationing nearby. "Count ’em, 12 nannies!” (Presumably they're working in shifts?)
Also spending Christmas on Parrot Cay (though not in the same house!) are Keith Richards, Christie Brinkley and Lost producer J.J. Abrams.
