You can breathe easy, Brangelina fans. Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie spent the weekend in Miami, very together, taking in all the Super Bowl festivities. But if that's not enough proof that they're happy, they've found another way to put pesky separation rumors to rest. Pitt and Jolie have filed a lawsuit against the British tabloid that originally claimed their relationship was over.

News of the World published a story on Jan. 24 claiming the (unmarried) couple had met with a Los Angeles divorce lawyer to quietly divide their assets and figure out custody of their six children.

"The News of the World has failed to meet our clients' reasonable demands for a retraction of and apology for these false and intrusive allegations which have now been widely republished by mainstream news outlets," Pitt and Jolie's lawyer, Keith Schilling, said in a statement. "We have advised them to bring proceedings, which they have now done."

In order to discredit News of the World 's claim that celeb divorce lawyer Sorrell Trope was handling the couple's alleged breakup, Schilling included a denial from the lawyer in his statement.

"I have had no contact from...Angelina Jolie and/or Brad Pitt," Trope added. "I have never met... your clients or had any involvement with either of them. The foregoing is true with respect to all other members of this firm."
