Jennifer Aniston and Bradley Cooper have only appeared in one movie together: He's Just Not That Into You. And as it turns out, the title may apply to their off-screen relationship.
Last week we heard that Cooper, 36, and Aniston, 42, have been talking on the phone a whole lot since Cooper's breakup with Renee Zellweger. Sources told People: "Jen always had a soft spot for Bradley, and she thinks he is very attractive and charming. Jen appreciates that Bradley is low-key, loves dogs and is focused on his movie career. They have a lot in common." But now Us Weekly has spoken to some of Cooper's friends -- and they say the spark's not there for him.
"Bradley loves Jennifer as a friend," one pal says bluntly.
Another friend says that dating the more-famous Aniston would be a little too much for Cooper to handle at this point in his career. "Bradley knows that by dating Jen, he'd be known as Mr. Jennifer Aniston," the friend explains.
Okay, but what about all those phone calls? People said there were phone calls!
"They were looking at projects to work on together," says an insider.
Sigh. Sounds like they're not getting together in real life -- but if they're looking at projects, we may get to see them together on the big screen.
Aniston will be costarring with another previously rumored boyfriend, Jason Sudeikis, in this summer's Horrible Bosses, while Cooper and his on-screen Wolf Pack will head to Thailand in May's eagerly anticipated The Hangover Part II.
