The Braided Bun on Kristen Bell

The classic braided bun never ceases to lose its appeal. It's more fun than a regular chignon, and can add elegance to any outfit. Even better, it doesn't take more than five minutes to pull together.

Devin's How To: Begin by rough drying damp hair with a blow dryer. Lightly wrap 1 1/2 inch sections around a large-barrel curling iron. Tousle waves with holding hairspray, then establish your part. Using your fingers, pull hair back into a loose ponytail at the nape, then secure with elastic. Braid the ponytail tightly and secure the end again with elastic. Add holding hairspray if necessary. Gently massage the braid with your fingers to rough it up and make it larger. Wrap braid into a bun and secure it with hairpins.
