    3 T unsalted butter 1 pn ground black pepper
    6 leeks, cut into 1/4inch sections 1/4 c white wine
    1 pn kosher salt

      Clean and trim leeks and cut into 1/4-inch sections

      Melt butter over medium heat in a non-stick skillet

      When the butter melts, add the leeks

      Add salt and pepper to leeks and toss over heat to evenly distribute butter

      Cook leeks until soft, about 5-6 minutes

      Add white wine and cook about 5 more minutes

      Serve hot or room temperature
