Brandi Glanville isn't known for having the most amicable relationship with her ex-husband Eddie Cibrian and his new wife LeAnn Rimes. But when it comes to the stepmother of her two sons, Glanville is prepared to offer her full support.
Rimes voluntarily entered an in-patient treatment facility on Wednesday, just one day after her 30th birthday, her rep confirmed. And it looks like the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, 39, is being gracious about Rimes' decision.
"I totally support LeAnn's decision to enter rehab -- my top priority is my children, and at the end of the day we are a family," Glanville (who has two sons with Cibrian, Mason, 9, and Jake, 5) told Us Weekly on Thursday. "LeAnn is their stepmom, and they love her. I am wishing her all the best and I hope she will find what she is looking for while in rehab."
Although the country star's rep did not confirm the specific reasons she is seeking treatment, the issues stem from problems dealing with anxiety and stress. Rimes explained it was the right time to get help.
"This is just a time for me to emotionally check out for a second and take care of myself and come back in 30 days as the best 30-year-old woman I can be," Rimes tells People. "All the things in my life will be there when I get out, but you know what? I'm hoping they're not going to affect me as much. I'll have the tools to know how to deal with them."
