It seems like this marriage wasn't meant to last for Brandi Glanville. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star -- and ex-wife of LeAnn Rimes' current hubby Eddie Cibrian -- headed to Las Vegas to celebrate the new year with her best friend, mixed martial arts manager Darin Harvey, but soon they were celebrating their surprise nuptials instead.
"It wasn't planned and we will handle it, but good times!" Glanville tweeted along with a picture of herself and Harvey smooching in a Vegas wedding chapel. "I'm married again-suuuuuuuck it!"
The two celebrated their "honeymoon" at the strip club Spearmint Rhino, but apparently it didn't take long for the glamor to fade. Turns out the whole incident was just Glanville, 38, and Harvey having fun in Vegas, and it was never meant to stick.
Needless to say, some of Glanville's Twitter followers were none too pleased at the whole stunt.
"We got carried away by getting married! I didn't realize what we did wuld affect others so seriously! in my head I was just having fun w/ my best friend who I adore & has been there for me during all my tuff times!" she tweeted on Jan. 3. "I didnt mean to offend anyone! I beleive everyone shud be able to get married & maybe even embarass themselves in Vegas ;)."
Harvey echoed those sentiments. A quick look through his Twitter feed shows that he apparently "blacked out" during the incident. "It's a big blur bottle of Patron Elvis now I'm married. At least shes hot and sane," Harvey wrote on Jan. 2. But he was quick to tell his friends and Twitter followers that the marriage would be quickly annulled.
"Everyone chill @BrandiGlanville and I were a bit ffffed in Vegas wanted to do something crazy so we did. Getting annulled still bff's," he twittered. "@BrandiGlanville and I wanted to shock the world.. never though it would get this far.. Sure was fun though. We are bff's and still single."
