Family Time Calendar: Breakfast for Dinner

Late winter calls for some amusement. Why not let silliness reign and have breakfast for dinner? Kids love when things get turned upside down, as you've probably noticed, and mixing up a batch of pancakes and sausage for supper will make it easy on you too.

Let the kids help mix the pancakes (you know they'll want to) while you start the sausages. Make a pot of (decaf) coffee for the grown-ups, and serve hot chocolate to the kids. Add some fruit to the pancakes -- put sliced apples or frozen blueberries in the mix or pile canned sliced peaches over done flapjacks -- to sweeten things up (and add in some nutrition). Get everyone into PJs before the meal, then enjoy!
