Breaking Dawn is finally a "go," now that the fourth installment of the Twilight film franchise -- costarring Robert Pattinson and Kristin Stewart -- has nailed down a director!
After months of speculation about who was going to take the reigns for the last chapters of Edward and Bella's internationally popular love story, Dreamgirls director Bill Condon has signed on to be in charge of the big vampire finale.
"I'm very excited to get the chance to bring the climax of this saga to life onscreen," Condon said in a statement. "As fans of the series know, this is a one-of-a-kind book, and we're hoping to create an equally unique cinematic experience."
"I'm so thrilled that Bill wants to work with us," the bestselling novelist said. "I think he's going to be a great fit, and I'm excited to see what he does with the material."
As for whether Breaking Dawn will be split into two movies, Summit Studios claims a decision still has yet to be made.
