While Twi-hards continue to shell out money to see New Moon over and over again in theaters, there's news about the The Twilight Saga's fourth installment.
According to Variety, Stephenie Meyer's Breaking Dawn may be split into two movies! Talk about doubling your pleasure! But, before we go and get all excited, Summit Studios has a lot to figure out before they can really make this happen – like getting everyone involved back on board for another flick.
Obviously the movie studio would have to pay the Twilight stars, Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and Taylor Lautner, some big bucks to shoot a fifth movie, but they would also have to convince director Chris Weitz to hang around – which may be tough considering he's already said he wants to quit the business. And, all of this needs to be figured out before screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg gets started.
While the fate of Breaking Dawn is up in the air, we can always concentrate on the release of Eclipse, which hits theaters June 20, 2010. Only seven more months to go.
