A major tug-of-war went on between the Spears family and supposed pal Sam Lufti. According to a request for a temporary restraining order against him, Britney's mother Lynne accused Sam of drugging the singer and verbally abusing her, and forbade Sam from getting within 250 yards of Britney, her homes, her family's homes and the hospital where she was staying.
