Britney Spears hasn't just hired a personal shopper for Christmas this year -- she's hired 11 million of them! The pop star, who turns 30 next week, signed on to her Twitter on Wednesday seeking fans' advice on the perfect gift for her mom Lynne.
As it turns out, her followers had lots of ideas -- some of them more helpful than others! During the course of a couple hours, Spears retweeted her favorite ideas. One fan suggested a "customized Slave 4 U outfit," to which Spears responded, "She would look so hot!" (Does "customized" mean it comes with a snake?) Another recommended a French beret, which Spears acknowledged would "definitely look fierce."
A few fans got creative, coming up with ideas for something that Spears could make herself -- like a scrapbook, or "a picture of you as Mrs. Claus, Jason (Trawick -- her boyfriend of two years) as Santa and Sean and Jayden as little elves!" (That one got an LOL.) One said that the whole family should serenade Lynne with a Spice Girls song, to which Spears answered, "Let's see if Jason's up for it!"
After a while, Spears and the Twitterverse narrowed it down to a curling iron, and finally to the EZCurler in pink. ("Shhh.. don't tell mom," she said to the entire internet. Wonder if that will work?) She wrapped up the session by promising to be back online for more gift suggestions soon.
"Y'all have been so much fun!" exclaimed Britney, who says she's "got a big list" this holiday season.
So we know what she's giving -- but what will Britney be receiving this Christmas? According to RadarOnline, she may have an engagement ring waiting under the tree! The website reports that Trawick has been seen visiting several high-end jewelers, including Tiffany & Co. and Harry Winston, in search of the perfect diamond.
"Britney and Jason discuss marriage all the time," says a family insider of her agent-turned-boyfriend. "Britney is truly in love with Jason, and well, Jason has loved her for a very, very long time."
