I was listening to the radio yesterday afternoon and one of the local deejays said, that what has happened to Britney Spears, might be "the biggest unraveling of a star I've ever witnessed in my lifetime." Isn't that just so sad, when you really think about it?
I get so caught up in reporting Britney's daily antics that I sometimes forget who she once was. She was hugely famous -- and for positive things! Her singing and dancing and performing -- an amazing entertainer -- which makes the fact that TMZ.com is reporting that Brit has been labeled "gravely disabled" by doctors so unbelievable.
Having the label "G.D." means "the patient is unable to take care of basic needs, such as the acquisition of food, clothing or shelter" and is "one of the criteria for involuntary commitment."
Health professionals over at UCLA say Britney was in a manic state when she was admitted late Wednesday night, making it extremely difficult to get her settled. She was yelling at her mom, "The only reason she's admitting me is because she wants to be alone with her boyfriend! She wants to sleep with my boyfriend!!"
Again, she never said who she was talking about, but that doesn't sound like very rational thinking. Who could Lynne want to sleep with? Adnan? Sam? Felipe the paparazzo? But the insider says, when Britney did calm down, she talked about her boys and how much she missed them.
Today I'm feeling sad for her.
