The popularity of Britney Spears' new single "3" is just more proof that this pop princess has recovered her throne. Long gone are the days of messy paparazzi photos and questionable parenting. This Britney is all about the music — and her fans couldn't be happier.
In anticipation of tomorrow's premiere of the video for new single, Britney decided to treat her loyal fans to some sneak peaks.
"1...2...3 days until the premiere of my new video, but don't stress," she wrote Wednesday on BritneySpears.com. "I will be sending out lots of pics and clips for the next 3 days."
She delivered on that promise -- sort of -- by posting three simple photos to a Twitpic page.
The shots are rather unremarkable: Two are merely headshots of a blonde Britney against a plain-white background. The third features a close-up of Brit's lace-stockinged legs.
Although Brit's music is taking the front seat, her personal life hasn't totally disappeared from the tabloids. Based on some paparazzi snapshots of a smiling Britney with her alleged boyfriend (and manager), Jason Trawick, DailyMail.co.UK speculates that Brit is "happy".
