Britney Spears To Open VMAs!
Hell has apparently frozen over, people.
Britney Spears will be opening Sunday's MTV VMAs. Don't get me wrong -- nobody said she was performing, actually the press people made it clear that there wouldn't be a performance (a blessing?), but it's still bound to be monumental. The comeback kid is nominated for three moon men; Best Female Video, Best Pop Video and Video of the Year for "Piece of Me."
"MTV has long played an important role in my career," Brit said in a statement. "How can I not be there to kick off their 25th VMA's? I'm excited to open the entire show, to say hi to my fans and to be nominated."
I bet she is going to look ridiculously good. All of a sudden I'm excited!
