Britney's Dad Gains Permanent Control

I'm glad Britney Spears finally realizes that she should stick with what's working.
The pop star's dad, along with her attorney, was granted permanent legal control of his daughter, a court ruled yesterday. The temporary conservatorship was set to expire on Dec. 31, but after court meetings and evaluations of Britney's mental health records, her lawyer told the judge that the singer has no objections to Jamie Spears remaining in control.
"The court finds the proposed permanent conservatorship is necessary and appropriate [because of the] complexities of her financial and business entities and also potential for her being susceptible to influences," said Los Angeles Superior Court Commissioner Reva Goetz, who has been presiding over the case.
Though this may hinder Brit's efforts in regaining custody of her boys, I really think she gets that this is the best thing for her. She gets plenty of time with Sean and Jayden, but still has her dad as a security blanket, to keep her from slipping up.
We all need a little help every now and then, and sometimes it takes more strength to as for it than to not.
