Britney's Dad Gets A Christmas Bonus

While everyone else in America is suffering from the beat economy, and losing their jobs left and right, take comfort in knowing that Britney Spears' dad, Jamie Spears, has just gotten a nice little bonus.
A Los Angeles court today signed off on a retroactive raise for the pop star's dad, patting Jamie on the back for playing significant role in his daughter's stellar comeback. Brit's pops was making $2,500 a week to be her keeper, and will now get $16,000 per month to cover his workload from last January to November.
"He has been working extra hours related to various activities related to her music and her tour and activities necessary to the conservatorship," L.A. Superior Court Commissioner Reva Goetz said during Monday's hearing.
Jeez, and my parents got zilch.
