Coroner says drugs and pneumonia were to blame for the actress' Dec. 20 death

Brittany Murphy died of community acquired pneumonia and multiple drug intoxication, the Los Angeles County Department of Coroner said in a statement released to Access Hollywood on Thursday.

The actress, who died on December 20, 2009, is also listed as having had iron deficiency and anemia, at her time of death.
