Clueless star Brittany Murphy died Sunday morning of cardiac arrest. She was 32.

Variety is reporting that Murphy's mother called 911 early Sunday morning after finding her unconcious in the shower at the home she shared with her husband of less than three years, screenwriter-producer Simon Monjack. The actress was pronounced dead upon arrival at Los Angeles' Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.

Most famous for her role as Tai in 1995's Clueless, Murphy's film credits include Riding in Cars with Boys (2001), 8 Mile (2002), Uptown Girls (2003), and Sin City (2005.)

Murphy's former boyfriend, Ashton Kutcher, with whom she starred in 2003's Just Married, Twittered a tribute to the actress on Sunday: "2day the world lost a little piece of sunshine. My deepest condolences go out 2 Brittany's family, her husband, & her amazing mother, Sharon."
