Look Smokin' with this Bronzed Smokey Eye Tutorial

Follow along as celebrity makeup artist and host of DIY Beautify Andrew Sotomayor walks you through the easy steps for getting a sexy and sophisticated bronzed smokey eye.

Here's what you'll need to acheive the smokey eye:

- Translucent loose powder
- Brown eyeliner pencil
- Pale ivory shadow
- Bronze shadow
- Black shadow
- Lash curler
- Mascara
- Small powder brush
- Smudger brush
- Small shadow brush
- Medium fluffy shadow brush

Here is the step-by-step tutorial for getting a bronzed smokey eye:

1. Apply loose powder under the eye to catch any shadow that may fall

2. Apply eye primer from the lash line to the brow bone

3. Line the entire eye with a brown eyeliner. Tip: Tilting your head back flattens out the lid so that eyeliner doesn't smudge onto the other parts of the eye

4. Blend the line smooth using a smudger brush

5. Apply light shadow on the brow and inner corner of the eye

6. Use a medium sized shadow brush to apply bronze shadow on the lid

7. Line the eye again with brown shadow to add intensity and help the eyeliner last longer

8. Curl lashes and finish with two coats of mascara

According to Andrew Sotomayor, every woman needs an espresso brown eyeliner. It's just dark enough, flatters every eye color, and works on any skin tone.
