Former Dancing with the Stars winner Brooke Burke will be making a return to the reality competition, only this time she won't be cutting a rug. Burke, 38, who was the champion of the hit show's seventh season, will replace Samantha Harris as Tom Bergeron's cohost, according to People.

Burke, who has previously hosted other reality TV shows such as Wild On and Rock Star, was announced as the new DWTS cohost on this morning's Good Morning America. Bergeron, 54, said of Burke's casting, "She’ll be able to talk to the couples backstage with the perspective of having been there herself."

Burke, who is currently on vacation with her family in Africa, took time to tweet her excitement over her new gig to fans: "I'm so excited to be returning to the DWTS family." Fellow Dancing with the Stars contestant Denise Richards wrote to Burke from her Twitter page, "@brookeburke congrats!! You'll be fantastic!"

The tenth season of Dancing with the Stars, featuring Kate Gosselin, Evan Lysacek, Nicole Sherzinger, Buzz Aldrin, Jake Pavelka, and Pamela Anderson, among others, premieres March 22 on ABC.
