After being arrested on domestic violence charges and spending most of Christmas day in a Colorado jail, things don't seem to be getting any better for Charlie Sheen.
The 911 call made by wife Brooke Mueller has been released, and while talking to emergency response operators she tearfully claims that her husband pulled a knife on her and threatened her life.
"My husband had me with a knife. I was scared for my life and he threatened me," Brooke says on the call.
"I have people here," she told the operator. "My family is here, but if I don't file this right now … he's in the other room. He is with somebody but he's trying to leave."
According to the police report, a fight the two were having escalated after Brooke told Charlie she wanted a divorce and would take their children away. Brooke says that's when Charlie threw her down on the bed, grabbed her by the throat and, while holding a knife, said, "You better be in fear. If you tell anybody, I'll kill you."
Then, she says, the threats continued. "Your mother's money means nothing. I have ex-police I can hire who know how to get the job done and they won't leave any trace," Charlie spit, according to his wife.
Brooke told police that Charlie only let her get up after she apologized. "You're right, you're right, you're right. I'm sorry, I love you," she reportedly said.
The police report says that Brooke had red marks on her neck that Mueller said were caused when Sheen held her down.
Charlie was arrested and charged with suspicion of menacing and second-degree assault, as well as misdemeanor criminal mischief. He was released on $8,500 bail later that night and an order of protection was issued, keeping Charlie away from Brooke. He is due back in court on Feb. 8.
