Charlie Sheen's soon-to-be ex-wife Brooke Mueller is back in rehab after a week of nonstop partying, according to TMZ. News of her readmittance comes just days after TMZ obtained video surveillance footage of the 32-year-old attempting to sell her jewelry to an Inglewood, Calif., pawn shop, reportedly to get money for drugs.
In February of last year, she checked into rehab just one day after Sheen's arraignment on felony charges for allegedly threatening her with a knife on Christmas Day 2009. Things have obviously spiraled even further out of control since then, with Sheen being fired from Two and a Half Men, showing off his "goddesses" on national television, and going on tour with a live show called "Violent Torpedo of Truth/Defeat Is Not an Option."
Mueller, 32, and Sheen, 45, just filed final divorce papers in February (their divorce will be official May 2), and they are supposed to share joint custody of their 22-month-old twins Bob and Max. The prospect of that looks pretty grim, however. Mueller refused to take a drug test on Friday, which is required as part of her joint custody settlement.
With Mueller back in rehab, will Sheen get custody of the kids? Sheen, who is currently calling himself a Vatican Warlock Assassin and -- for good measure -- being heckled and booed by audiences at his live shows, might not be the best father figure at the moment. But it seems like the actor does want Bob and Max back.
According to OK! Magazine, on Sunday night Sheen went on a rant against his ex during a live show at Foxwoods Resort Casino in Mashantucket, Conn.. Calling Mueller a "crack addict," a "troll" and a "loser," she told the crowd exactly what his intentions are regarding Bob and Max. "So she's MIA," he said of Mueller. "The kids are with her less-than-stable mom, so guess where I'm going tonight after the show? I'm going to L.A. to get my f***ing kids back." The crowd reportedly roared with approval.
If Sheen does get custody of Bob and Max, let's hope that he gets someone other than the "goddesses" to help him look out for those little boys.
