While we're all pretty well-versed in Charlie Sheen's past troubles with the law, the Christmas morning domestic dispute between the actor and his wife has shed new light on the past of Brooke Mueller. It seems Charlie's wife has had numerous run-ins with the law, too.
According to E! News, Brooke was arrested twice -- once for driving under the influence and causing damage to property in 1996, and again in 2001 for possession of cocaine.
After driving erratically and hitting a sign before the first arrest, Brooke failed five out of six sobriety tests, admitting that she had drank wine, taken Vicodin, and used both marijuana and cocaine. She also expressed concern that someone had added Rohypnol, the date-rape drug, to her drink. She was taken to Palm Beach County Jail and the charges were eventually dropped.
Five years later, when she was arrested for cocaine possession, Brooke was released on $5,000 bond, and the case was thrown out when blood tests revealed she was clean.
