Brooklyn Decker will strip to the tiniest of bikinis if a movie or photo shoot demands it, but in her personal life, she feels more comfortable keeping her smoking bod under wraps in modest, less-revealing ensembles.
The model turned actress, who graced the cover of 2010's Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, claims she's actually a "tomboy" in her day to day life, so dressing up for Hollywood events is a challenge for her.
"The biggest thing is finding that balance between masculine and feminine. Because I'm such a tomboy, I hate showing off my body," Decker, 25, explained to FabSugar at a New York City event April 18. "[My stylist] is always like 'you have to show your figure.'"
That's a surprising admission, considering the Battleship star has walked recent red carpets wearing memorable plunging necklines, revealing cutouts, and sheer gowns. But Decker, who's married to tennis champion Andy Roddick, says her favorite dresses are ones that don't show too, too much.
"One of my favorite [Battleship] looks was the Stella McCartney dress, and it felt very athletic with a high neck, but it was fitted," the model/actress explained of the backless navy and ivory halter dress. "We have to kind of balance each other out."
Battleship, which also stars Liam Neeson, Taylor Kitsch, Alexander Skarsgard, and the film debut of Rihanna, hits theaters May 18.
