This is like a tri-state area girls' heaven.
Jersey boy Bruce Springsteen and Long Island, NY homeboy Billy Joel are putting on a concert -- together -- in order to raise money for Barack Obama's presidential campaign.
The event will take place at the Hammerstein Ballroom in NYC on Oct. 16 ( FYI: that's the day before my birthday if anyone wants to buy me tickets), a day after Barack concludes his final debate with GOP contender John McCain at Hofstra University.
Sources say the Illinois senator will be Barack-ing at the concert with Billy and Bruce, and, chances are he isn't going to have to shell out the big bucks everyones will to see the show. To witness this first-time pairing between the two music legends, you'll have to shell out at least $500 (that's what they start at), while "premiere seating" will cost you $2,500 a seat, and exclusive "lounge" seats will set you back a cool $10,000.
Yeah, I'm probably not going. But a girl can dream, right?
