Could there be a new boss headed over to McKinley High? Maybe, as the latest Glee guest star rumors have Bruce Springsteen prepping to make some music with Rachel Berry & Co.
According to Showbizspy.com, Springsteen is in talks to play Finn Hudson's uncle on an episode featuring a bunch of the New Jersey native's smash hits.
“Bruce is such an all-American icon we thought it would be great to get him on board," a show insider blabbed. "His music is loved by everyone and it has such potential to fit into the show."
In addition to getting to perform Springsteen songs, the Glee kids may even get their chance to sing alongside the legend.
“The idea is he would have duets with Cory Monteith (Finn) and Lea Michele (Rachel) too. Bruce is part of American culture — he would be perfect."
You know who else is on board for a Boss-centric Glee? Sue Sylvester!
And if past Glee tribute episodes have been any indication, it's kind of a lock that the new versions of the music wouldn't do too shabby on iTunes either.
"The Glee versions of Journey’s songs have been a real hit and we just know Bruce’s songs would go down a storm too," the source said.
