Catch up on Grey's Anatomy!

Grey’s Anatomy fans that need a refresher before next Thursday, you’re in luck!

Grey’s Anatomy: The Complete Fifth Season is in stores now and the seven-disc DVD set includes all 24 episodes and the following extras:

100th Episode: Tales From The O.R. – The casts of Grey’s Anatomy reflects on the show’s 100th episode, which featured the wedding of Izzie Stevens and Alex Karev instead of Derek Shepherd and Meredith Grey.

Heaven Sent – Everyone’s favorite ghost, Denny Duquette, is profiled about his role on the show. If you ever wanted to know why the Denny storyline went on for one episode too many, Grey’s Anatomy creator Shonda Rhimes explains why she decided to bring him back after his death on the show.

Discussing Grey’s Anatomy: Unaired Scenes – There are 14 unaired scenes included and several feature audio commentary from Rhimes and Grey’s Anatomy executive producer Betsy Beers.

In Stitches: Season Five Outtakes – A four-minute clip of outtakes from the fifth season. For all the hours of footage, you would think they could find some funnier material featuring the Grey’s cast.

The fifth season might go down as the season Grey’s Anatomy jumped the shark, highlighted by the Denny/Izzie plotline that went on for way too long.

Luckily with the rumors surrounding Katherine Heigl and T.R. Knight’s fate on the show, it gave Rhimes the opportunity to write a juicy cliffhanger for the conclusion of the season.

For the fans of Grey’s Anatomy since the show debuted in 2005, it’s worth picking up the DVD for the segments on the 100th episode and Denny. If you’re new to the show or just want to know how the fifth season concluded, add it to your Netflix queue.
