Cameron Diaz, Eva Mendes May Not Want to Be Moms

In new interviews, both actresses question whether motherhood is in their future. What do you think?

With Hollywood (and heck, the world) procreating all over the place, it's always news when a celeb comes out and says she may not have kids.

Now Cameron Diaz and Eva Mendes seem to be joining the ranks of many iVillagers who describe themselves as Child-Free by Choice.

"Having children changes your life drastically, and I really love my life. Children aren't the only things that bring you gratification and happiness, and it's easier to give life than to give love, so I don't know," the 37-year-old Diaz (who's recently been linked to New York Yankees star Alex Rodriguez) told the July issue of InStyle magazine. "That kind of change would have to be either very well thought out, or a total mistake -- a real oops!"

Mendes, 36, who's been in a long-term relationship with Peruvian filmmaker George Gargurevich, seems equally undecided. "I've never had a longing to have children," she tells the latest issue of W. "I've been thinking about it lately because it's like, 'Oh, God, am I going to do this?' I don't know is the answer."

It's a bit refreshing to hear a female celeb discuss her uncertainty surrounding children, especially when we're constantly barraged with stories of "poor, single, childless" Jennifer Aniston and those untrue predictions of "finally a baby for Beyonce!" by the media.
