There is little love lost between Camille Grammer and her ex-husband Kelsey Grammer. After she recently criticized him for his parenting choices, she has come out and admitted that he won't let their children say her name in his house.
"[It's] kind of sad I found this out, that they are not allowed to say my name in the house," she tells Anderson Cooper on Anderson Live. "So these poor kids, my daughter and my son, can't say my name in their father's house."
The 44-year-old Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star spends plenty of time talking about her ex in the press -- but she spends zero time actually talking to him directly. She says that he won't speak to her, text her or e-mail her, no matter how hard she tries.
"He doesn't speak to me at all," Grammer says. "So it's very, very difficult because I've reached out to him. I think it's very important to be amicable to raise children and he refuses to. There's just so much I can do at this point."
She later adds, "I mean, we were best friends and I miss my best friend. So, it would be nice. I know it's never going to be that relationship or that friendship for whatever reason, but just for us to get along, for the sake of our children."
Grammer also opened up to Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live about some of the troubles she's had trying to create a relationship with Kelsey and his new wife, Kayte Grammer, now that they're together.
"I met her, shook her hand and said hello, and then the second time I met her I said, 'You know, you're marrying my husband and these are going to be your kids. These are going to be your stepchildren. We need to be amicable and communicate for the sake of the children,'" she remembers. "After that I get a phone call that they're not going to come on the property to pick up the kids, that they have to pick up the kids without me being there. The transition needs to be without me, their mother."
