You didn't think Camille Grammer would let Kelsey take the kids without a fight, did you?
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, 46, has filed for primary custody of her two children with Kelsey Grammer, less than one month after her Emmy-winning husband filed for sole custody himself. As her friends have already suggested, Camille seems dead set against having daughter Mason, 9, and son Jude, 6, live with their father and his new wife, Kayte Walsh. Furthermore, she seems to believe that he isn't serious about wanting custody -- only about wanting to make her look bad.
In papers filed Thursday with the Los Angeles Superior Court, Camille, 42, writes that Kelsey's custody filing was "not in good faith" and "was done in order to create a false impression to the media and to wrongfully disparage Camille."
Camille also contests that, since Kelsey, 56, doesn't live in California, he would be disrupting the children's education by taking custody of them.
"The parties' son, Jude, has repeated kindergarten twice," the document states. "He is now working with tutors so that he can enter first grade at a public elementary school beginning in the Fall of 2011. In order to get into first grade Jude will have to do a math study program for the entire summer in Los Angeles."
While we question Grammer's decision to put details of her son's education on public record (not that there's anything unusual about repeating kindergarten), it's obvious that she means business. "She will continue to fight aggressively to keep her kids and keep her kids together," an insider tells People. "Kelsey's not been civil."
Indeed, the source says that Kelsey "will not communicate" with Camille outside of legal proceedings.
"I love my two children more than anything," Camille told RadarOnline. "I will fight for what's best for them. For me, it's important they have consistency and stability in their lives."
