chime in nowWhy we love it: This mirror conceived by Double Wide in the Sky makes a splashy impact in practically any room of the house.
What you’ll need: Seven-inch round Styrofoam ring, 12-inch round Styrofoam circle, nine-inch round mirror, ribbon, hot glue gun with glue sticks, picture hanger, gift wrap, tons of candy canes
How to make it: Trim and cut a circle from the gift wrap to cover the Styrofoam circle, and hot glue the gift wrap to it. Hot glue the picture hanger to the back of the Styrofoam circle, and glue the mirror to the center of the gift-wrapped side. Wrap ribbon around the Styrofoam ring, gluing the beginning and ending strands. Hot glue the ribbon-wrapped ring on top of the mirror. Start adding candy canes in the pattern you prefer. Hot glue broken candy canes to the top of the Styrofoam ring to cover completely. Hang -- and prepare to accept a steady flow of compliments!
