Carl Germann, Dinner in My Inbox

Sure, plenty of chefs and food writers claim that if food is prepared in a tasty way, kids will eat anything. At Dinner in My Inbox, magazine editor and super-dad Carl Germann decided to put that statement to a test. He gleans recipes from everywhere he can—books, newspapers, blogs—and tries them out on is 4-year-old daughter. The result is a collection of recipes that are really family-friendly.

"This Fourth of July, as we put the burgers and dogs on the grill, take a minute to think about the folks in Boston Harbor who got this whole crazy thing going in the first place. What better way to honor our country and those patriots than to make a pot full of Boston Baked Beans?" —Carl Germann, Dinner in My Inbox
