It's pretty rare that a famous set of sweethearts needs to be engaged before we get our first glimpse of them together on a red carpet, but Carrie Underwood and husband-to-be Mike Fisher have consistently kept a low profile. The two finally showed the world what a beautiful couple they are when they attended a charity event together Monday night.

The country singer, 26, and the Canadian hockey player, 29, thrilled the crowd at the 2010 Bell Sens Soirée fundraiser in Quebec, where they made their first joint public appearance since their Dec. 21 engagement. They even took their turn as celebrity blackjack dealers.

"They’re totally adorable and so down-to-earth,” Dorothy Jackson, who was at the same dinner table as Fisher and Underwood, told The Ottawa Citizen.
