Carrie Underwood to Sing at Super Bowl

Carrie Underwood may be engaged to an NHL player, but she'll be a guest of the NFL come Super Bowl Sunday (Feb. 7), when the 26-year-old songstress sings the national anthem before the big game.

The New Orleans Saints take on the Indianapolis Colts in Super Bowl XLIV and, for the third year in a row, a veteran of American Idol will be in the spotlight singing "The Star-Spangled Banner." Jennifer Hudson and Jordin Sparks had the honor for the previous two years.

In addition to Underwood's performance, Queen Latifah will sing "America The Beautiful" before the game, while The Who will headline the halftime show.
