About her: Not everybody's rooting for this brash 21-year-old, with her leopard print face paint and her button-pushing personality. Back home, she's a pharmacy postal room employee who also sings with a local pop band, VolHolla! But when she sang Christina Aguilera's "Ain't No Other Man" during her audition, she showed the judges an undeniable singing talent. "You have attitude, and you have style, and you have passion, and you have ambition," said L.A. Reid. "And you have the X Factor, sweetheart." Still, Demi Lovato felt the need to tamper down CeCe's hubris before she performed for her shot at the Top 16. "You've got the attitude thing down," she said. "You've got the rock star thing inside of you. And sometimes it borderlines a little bit unlikable."

Why she got cut: The most controversial contestant of this season, Cece was the first to go with the lowest number of votes on Dec. 6. The diva performed a cabaret rendition of Lady Gaga's "Edge of Glory" and Katy Perry's "Part of Me" looking like Ke$sha with her denim, leopard print and colorful outfit. With the 21-year-old eliminated, Lovato has no contenders left in the competition.
