Cee Lo Green might have a song called "F--k You," but he doesn't seem like a particularly antagonistic type. That's why the news that a woman has filed a sexual assault charge against him comes as something of a surprise.
The report comes from TMZ, who claims that a Los Angeles woman has filed a police report at the center of a sexual battery investigation claiming that The Voice mentor assaulted her. Apparently police have already visited a downtown Los Angeles restaurant that is supposed to be tied to the case and have interviewed the manager and several employees about it.
According to Green -- real name Thomas DeCarlo Callaway -- there's no way he could be connected with this case. If he's to be believed, he hasn't been to the restaurant in three months.
"Nothing ever happened there or anywhere else," he tells TMZ.
A source close to the rapper backs him up, saying, "I have never seen Cee Lo act in a physical way toward anybody."
As of now, this case isn't very severe. No charges have been filed against Green and, according to TMZ, the case has not been given to prosecutors.
