Kermit the Frog visited Tuesday's results show on The Voice (NBC, Mondays and Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET on NBC). Bulgy eyes and green felt skin notwithstanding, he looked pretty unassuming next to the character to his right. Cee Lo Green, who appeared to be dressed for a St. Patricks Day Parade on Jupiter, sang a duet of "It's Not Easy Being Green" with America's favorite green reptile. (No disrepect to the Geico gecko, or the Warner Brothers frog, but Kermit's got this one.)

Wearing a mirrored, neon green vest and a matching, wide-brimmed, feather-sprouting fedora, Green sat with Kermit at the piano. "You wrote a song some time ago that really represents the way that I've been feeling," he said, before the pair launched into the iconic number, which both bemoans and celebrates being different. For those who grew up with Sesame Street and The Muppets, the song can bring a tear to your eye. Fozzy Bear, sitting in Blake Shelton's judging chair, wiped his tears with his tie.
In fact, lots of Muppets populated The Voice's studios, with Animal in Adam Levine's chair, Janice in Christina Aguilera's chair, and even a Cee Lo doppleganger.
Ultimately, the show got down to business and narrowed the contestant field down to the Top 6. Dez Duron from Agilera's team and Cody Belew from Green's team were sent home, leaving Aguilera without a contestant in the running.
But the only ones grumbling (at least outwardly) were those old geezers, Statler and Waldorf.
"I wish we had buttons on our chairs like the coaches," said one of them, when Cee Lo and Kermit finished.
"Why?" asked the other.
"To activate our ejector seats!" he replied.
