Friends for just about 15 years, Jessica Simpson and CaCee Cobb (pictured on Sept. 11) have been inseparable long before Jess’ Newlyweds days. Cobb, who is now baby Maxwell's godmother, served as her pal’s personal assistant for years, and the duo appeared together on The Price of Beauty. Cobb, now engaged to actor Donald Faison, has been a loving and consistent presence as her close friend has gone through her share of ups and downs -- from public splits to finding her soul mate. By the sound of it, the love is certainly mutual. "I've never, ever felt like I couldn’t call her," says Cobb to iVillage exclusively. "I’ve showed up at her house at night saying 'I’m spending the night!' She’s always there for me. No matter what’s going on in her life, she always makes time for me and whoever.
