The Look: Strategically Messy

How To: Start with clean hair and use a large barrel brush to blow out straight. Tease the top half and comb back with a fine tooth comb to build structure and create texture. "You have to allow yourself to play with texture to achieve this look," commented Shorter. Sweep all of your hair upward and secure with bobby pins. Pull out bangs and just enough loose strands to frame your face. Finish off with a light mist to create a sheen finish.
