Ryan O'Neal: Prostate Cancer



Just three years after losing long-time love Farrah Fawcett to anal cancer, Ryan O'Neal has been diagnosed with stage 2 prostate cancer. The 70-year-old actor said in statement to People magazine: "Although I was shocked and stunned by the news, I feel fortunate that it was detected early and according to my extraordinary team of doctors the prognosis is positive for a full recovery."

O'Neal is already a cancer survivor -- in the 1990s he was successfully treated for myelogenous leukemia, a condition that causes the bone marrow to overproduce abnormal white blood cells.
